STRIKE VOTE!
CUPE Local 40 will be conducting a Labour Relations Board Supervised Strike Vote
February 10th (Monday) 9am – 9pm
February 11th (Tuesday) 9am – 9pm
*Reason for the date change: The Labour Relations Board had first told us that February 9th was the first day we could hold a Strike Vote, the CBE challenged that date and they were correct, February 10th is the earliest that we can hold the vote.
The vote will take place at CUPE Local 40’s office. See parking information.

Members will cast their secret ballot and leave, should only take a few minutes.
This vote will give your Bargaining Committee leverage when we meet with the employer and government agent in formal mediation on February 12th and 13th, your support is imperative to securing a contract that addresses the issues of being underpaid and understaffed.
