Final Ingoing Union Proposal

CBE – CUPE Proposals_2024

CUPE Local 474, Edmonton Public School Custodial Workers, ratified a contract December 5, 2024. This contract included the 2.75% for the first 4 years, ending August 31,2024, and 12% over the next 4 years.

Regardless of this deal, CUPE Local 40 is continuing with coordinated bargaining with the other 39 CUPE Education Locals and feel that the deal 474 ratified leaves money on the table. We will not be acknowledging this deal as a trend and will continue to stand in solidarity with the other education locals across the province to secure a living wage.
